Conservatory Glazed Extension

Add thousands to the value of your home

Research reveals that extending your home could add more than £42,000 to the value of your property – and choosing carefully could add even more.

The study based on calculations by Nationwide Building Society found that a home extension could increase a properties worth by 22 per cent or £42,700.

Copperfield Windows are highlighting the opportunity to homeowners to maximize their return on investment even further by choosing a contemporary glazed extension over a traditional ‘bricks and mortar installation’.

Coming in at a fraction of the cost, Craig Smith, Director Coppefield Windows, said there were multiple advantages to opting to add square footage to your property by adding a conservatory, orangery or hybrid-glazed extension.

“The cost is just the starting point. A conservatory or hybrid orangery-type glazed extension comes in at just a fraction of the cost of a traditional extension, putting extending their home in reach of homeowners without breaking the bank.

“An orangery or hybrid solution is flexible and suitable for use as a kitchen, playroom, dining room, office or general living space and light. Open and offering a connection between your home and garden adds a real wow-factor to your property while installation is far less disruptive to your home-life than a traditional build.”

Copperfield Windows offers a complete range of conservatory options.

Craig added: “A number of reports have recently highlighted the opportunities for homeowners to add significant value to their properties through the addition of square footage. A glazed extension or hybrid-conservatory is singularly the most cost effective way to do this, maximising the return that you get on that investment.”
